  • arlettde Condensation occurs when warm, moist air comes in contact with a cold surface. Even with double glazing the surface of your Windows is probably the coldest surface in the room. The problem is there in the morning because the house/apartment will be temporarily closed (doors do not open and close and windows closed), reduce ventilation, the outside temperatures are usually lowest in the early morning hours and because you continue to moisture add to the air by breathing (not optional).

We have not yet, but it will be there to soften the edges of the window, as the weather gets colder.

  • If you have too much moisture, you must firs run a dehumidifier in the basement to try. Otherwise ... If you have everything in order, as you said, then ... You need to check the heat exchanger for cracks by a heat-Tech. Cracks on old gas heat exchanger is moisture in the atmosphere of the house plus it's very dangerous to release. Good luck ...!
