  • arlettde Yes, you need to reset your fuse box. Get him to open up and you'll find a switch in the off position. First, unplug your dryer easily.

  • the fuse box must be found. Once you have that, it should find little switches on them, they will all be firmly connected to one side so slightly on each one until it is loose and probably easy to find a page. If not sure, it does not hurt to try them all. Flip all the switches in the opposite direction back to where they were. Should be addressed.

Hate to say it, but stupid, if your landlord asks what happened, this could get kicked out. Tell them you were sitting, and it just happened. -Your question has the right hair dryer, plug for the country? Have you from Australia? I know we do not plug into the U.S. coincide with Europe. Could be why you blew a fuse.

The fuse box should be inside or outside the apartment near his points in a metal box with lid into the air. Sometimes they do not do covers.

  • not familiar with the British code, by chance, where one in the toilet at the time? If so, you are required to have GFCI protected circuits near wet or damp areas? If so and you will not seek a condensed reset switch in the toilet tank with the keys. They say that you test the others back. Try reset.

    Gooday

  • , you blew a fuse/tripped circuit breaker and need repair. Find your fuse box and use either circuit breaker or fuse fix. Do not use a hair dryer again and send it on request. For our American readers love to their illegally in the UK have an outlet in the bathroom. Its also illegal, a wall light switch - have ceiling mounted pull cord or switch outside the room. When a hair dryer is installed, it must be hard wired with GFCI in place.

  • your new hair dryer was probably a higher wattage than your old and charged through the circuit. Unplug the dryer and press the button. When the switch is then the dryer back into the shop and lower it for a performance. Adjust the power of the old ones, which do not trip the switch, if you know what it was.
