How would this number with the new oil today. This was part of my father and I would not want to harm the engine.

1.Guest- arlettde you do not know which brand of saw, but I have an old Homelite. He calls for the acid-free oil with the gas are mixed to form a mixture into a 16th I use two-stroke oil, but mix it with the same money and it works well for many years.

- Many years ago we had no 2-cycle oil ... We usually used somewhere between 1/2 to 3/4 of a pint of good non-oil with a gal. the reg. leaded gasoline .... Like a motor engine stean smoked ... And you had the plugs are cleaned often .... But it worked .... I have a 30 year old McCullough seen .... I mix about 30 to 1 .... 2 CY. Oil ....... - Doe is to say the relationship? 30-1 as 0.50 to 1? You can look up conversion table w/google google.Or the saw and motor itself.3/4 pint to gallon of gas is way too much. that would be about 4-1.
30-1 gas well would be 30 ounces to 1 ounces oil.
